www.travel4living.com Low cost family vacation & hotels for less will give you an affordable getaway. How about a family budget vacation at a beachfront resort? Find a Florida vacation package.
I would find a good local travel agent in your area to help you. They have the experience and knowledge that you don't, and will be able to assist or have contacts in the other areas as well.
A $200 round trip ticket would maybe get you to Florida, but def not to the caribbean. I found round trip tickets on orbitz.com from JFK airport to San Juan airport in Puerto Rico for $275-289 per person. I clicked April 5th to April 12th, Flexible Dates for 5-7 days around this time. But in PR there really arent any all-inclusive hotels so you need to add in for food. You can try to stay at the Embassy suites because everyone can share the suite or try looking for vacation rentals so everyone can stay in a condo or apt. Dominican Republic will also be cheap & they have all-inclusive hotels. You can check that out too.

Hi!
Have you ever been In Puerto Rico? The christmas seasong in Puerto Rico are the longest in the wordl, they starts in November 25th. and ends the January 12th. perhaps after this there's a great carnaval named "Las fiestas de la calle San Sebatian" It's a big party almost 24hours a day for almost a week with live music, dancing, handcrafters exibition, etc. It's great. For hotels thre are plenty of those, try Holiday Inn. San Juan.com or you can look for them and offers at Puerto Rico. com If you need to know more E-mail me I'll be more than glad helping you.

We have traveled to Dominican Republic at Christmas time and didn't spend a fortune. Start checking out resorts now. We like the Puna Cana area because of the Caribbean beaches . But we have stayed in the Puerto Plata area with family and the kids loved it. They liked all the activities available on that side of the island. I think Dominican Republic has the best prices for all-inclusive. With kids you need all-inclusive. Our grandkids are always hungry.
Here are some site to research resorts and prices.

I would also check with your local travel agency for any special package prices. They often will match what you find on the web. Sometimes they are cheaper. Also you don't have to pay up front, a deposit will hold your reservation.
Good luck and enjoy)
