Choosing the Best Hawaii Vacation Package
Category: Family Vacation Packages | Nov 27, 2009 |

Deciding on which Hawaii vacation package to purchase really depends on what your trip is going to consist of when you go. Decisions like this can be quite overwhelming due to the fact that Hawaii is one of the biggest dream vacations of many couples and families around the United States. This means it will most likely be a one time experience for the majority, so trying to make it a perfect memory is on the minds of almost everyone. Include the fact that it can be quite expensive, and it makes finding a package deal very important.
When purchasing a Hawaii vacation package it is a given that this is going to include the accommodations and airfare, but after that everything else is up in the air. This is where finding out what everyone wants to do on the vacation comes into play. While you’re there do you want to scuba dive, snorkel, take a tour, eat out three times a day, go shopping, and learn to surf or anything else that will make it more enjoyable? Maybe even something you cannot do in many over places, like taking a para-sailing lesson? If so then finding this within the package will also help you financially.
While we can’t give specific costs because everyone has their own unique things that want to be included in the trip, we can tell you that many of the hotels and resorts will give you additional discounts on excursions and other events if you stay with them on the island. One place may offer a free scuba diving adventure or a discounted tour to see the volcanoes. Others may throw in helicopter rides, kayak fishing, or other exciting experiences that are just what you want to spend money on and they can give it to you for less.
This is exactly why it is important to know what you want to do before going because getting the most out of a Hawaii vacation package is the main goal here. However, when gaining in one area of the vacation you may be giving away in others spots. Even though your deal may include your airfare, hotel, and a couple things on the island, paying full price for other things may not really help the overall cost of the vacation. This means it may come down to choosing to do one thing and giving up the other. If this happens and money is an issue, maybe its best to go with the package that is going to save more money instead of what all is included.
It is all food for thought, but it can only help you in your quest to finding the ultimate Hawaii vacation package. If there is anything you want to take from this article, the importance of the best airfare, cost of resort or hotel, and car rental are the big three that should always be included. The rest should be considered as bonuses so if you get them great, but if they are sacrificed for the stay, air, and car then maybe they aren’t that important. In the end it is your decision, but we hope this helps point you in the right direction into finding the best vacation package for your trip to Hawaii.

There are two ways of doing this. One would be to put the vacation cost on your credit card and pay it off, including the interest, over 12 months. The other way would be to start paying into a vacation account on a monthly basis and when you have the price of the vacation, buy it. Some travel agents may offer the first option.

they have sights all over europe where you can stay, whilst renting out top of the range fixed caravans.
have a look at the sight and see if you like it!
have a great holiday.
Expedia works for me.
Find a place on International Dr in Orlando that you can go through a time share. When you spend about 90 minutes of your time doing that, they usually give you park tickets for free. Try it! I've done it.
I found this a lot of fun.
The Florida Everglades National Park/Biscayne National Park/Elliot Key Island.
I started out by camping at Flamingo Campground/Florida Everglades for 3 days. I rented a kayak and paddled the mangrove forest.
Then, at Biscayne. I took a boat over to Elliot Key Island from Biscayne and camped on the island for 3 days. There, I was able to snorkel the shallows and enjoy the coral reefs off of Elliot Key.
WARNING: If you snorkel. YOU MUST USE A RED DIVING FLAG. (A person was snorkeling without a diving flag while I was there and died because a boat did not see him) Walmart has/had a snorkeling kit for 20 bucks(flippers, mask & snorkel)
ALSO, I recommend doing the Everglades during the late winter/ early spring when the bugs and heat are not as bad.
AND FOR GAWD SAKE. DO NOT PLACE YOUR CHILD ON A ALLIGATORS BACK WHILE THEY ARE SUNNING ON THE ROAD. (true story – saw a tourist place his 4 year old son on a alligators back for a photo opprotunity.
Elliot Key only has access by boat or seaplane. There are NO stores on the island. SO, you have to pack in/out your food and water. Pack food in air tight containers. Racoons on Elliot Key are master thieves. I had my breakfast muffins tied up in a tree. The racoons still got them.
You're going to have a difficult time finding anything in that price range, even though it's the low, hurricane season in the Caribbean. The airfare alone would probably be more than that. Don't think you could even do the platform tent camping at Maho Bay or Cinnamon Bay in St. John USVI for that.
Best bet would probably be a travel agent who has package tours. CheapCaribbean.com sometimes has good deals – don't know how reliable they are. Also could check TravelZoo.com or VacationsToGo.com.
Perhaps Caye Caulker [Belize], Roatan [Honduras], Cozumel [Mexico] or Riviera Maya [Mexico] would have something more-affordable.
